The Leaside Group Meeting Spaces

From business meetings and events to family celebrations, The Leaside Group has everything you need to make your gathering memorable.

Located just minutes from downtown St. John’s,The Leaside Group offers businesses and organizations an ideal alternative to the everyday options for group meetings, breakfast meetings, private luncheons, or receptions. Three executive boardrooms are available: the Kilmacolm Room at Leaside Manor, the Connaigre at Compton House, as well as the boardroom located at Monastery Spa & Suites!

Leaside Manor Meeting Space

The Kilmacolm Room welcomes guests with a broad and inviting period room featuring Leaside Manor’s famous mix of old world quality and period charm and modern, contemporary conveniences and functionality. With a seating capacity of 25 - 30, and up to 75 in a cocktail type reception, this space can be configured in both a boardroom and theatre layout, with additional breakout space available. The large adjoining Reception Hall is also available for attendees, as is the lavishly paneled Dining Room, with a seating capacity for 16.

  • Catered, home-style meals/refreshments with allergy friendly options
  • Wireless Internet and on-site access to printer, fax, in-house phone system
  • Flip charts, markers, tape
  • Projector screen
  • 52" screen and VCR/DVD
  • Speaker phone and long distance for boardroom
  • Breakout space
  • Wheelchair accessibility
  • Off-street parking

Group lunches and refreshments can be served in the Dining Room or in an informal buffet style for larger groups. Leaside Manor also provide for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres for small receptions.

Rates

Rates for the meeting spaces are $350 for full day rental and $250 for half day rental Monday - Friday, Weekend rates are $450 for full day rental and $350 for half day rental. Rates are subject to change if also booking guestrooms and/or food and beverages.

Menu Options

Menus for weddings, receptions, cocktail parties, and other special events are prepared in consultation between management of Leaside Suites & Executive Apartments and respective clients. For luncheon menu options, please select only one choice per day. Please advise Leaside in advance of any dietary restrictions. A selection of wines and beverages are available upon request.

The Connaigre
Boardroom

An expert mixture of contemporary style and functionality

Compton House Boardroom

The Connaigre, located at Compton House, is a newly renovated executive boardroom space located on the ground floor. With its high ceilings and period quality expertly mixed with contemporary style and functionality, the Connaigre accommodates a capacity of 25 – 30 in seated meetings and up to 75 for cocktail type receptions. Compton House’s lavishly paneled Dining Room is also available with intimate seating capacity for 16.
